Well I finally decided to try and do a sketch....I'm pretty new to scrapbooking and still trying to come up with my own style so I'm always scared to try a sketch challange in fear that it will look to close to the actual sketch. I decided to start scraping for Christmas so that I can spend a lot of time on each page and get them just right :) So this page was done with Martha Stewart paper and the Cricut Chritmas Cheer cartridge and LOTS of stickles (my new favorite thing) TFL!!
I think you did a wonderful job (a whole lot better then me when I started!) I think you did get on your details and the way you did the bow is really great! Hey list, you can follow a sketch as close (or not) as you want to. I think its a wonderful starting point for those just starting to scrap. I wish I had known about them then. Stickles are one of my most favorite scrappy items too! I really hope it will work out for you to join us again!!! Leah

ReplyDeleteWonderful and creative take on the sketch...I love it....I too believe a sketch is just a beginning....the DT at SOUS loves to color outside the lines and we all have so much fun...you did a wonderful job and I am so happy you came to play...new sketch tomorrow!!!!

I love sketches, but I also love adding my own twist to them..they never have to be exactly as they appear.. you can always turn it on its side or upside down.. add the title here or there...just play around with it till you find your own thing.. Hope you join in again next week..its going to be a great..
